Vazquez Sounds – Let It Be (Cover)

Vazquez Sounds, composed of siblings AngelaGustavo, and Abelardo, is a talented young band from the hot Mexican border city of MexicaliBaja California.  The trio’s strong musical background and influence comes from their parents – their mother a singer and their father a music producer who has worked with successful Mexican music groups like Camila.  They have attracted a lot attention by doing their own incredible cover renditions of popular songs like Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You” and were quickly signed to Sony Music after going viral over the internet.

I first heard this sensational musical group on a Spring Break trip to Mexico.  The song “Rolling in the Deep” started playing on the radio, but instead of hearing Adele’s recognizably strong voice, the song was instead being belted out by a little girl, who I later found out was Angela.  Angela’s captivating voice maintained the same vocal richness as Adele while mixing in her own melodic style..I was impressed to say the least!

I stumbled across the threesome again with their most recent cover release for “Let it Be” by The Beatles.  In this rendition, Abelardo and Gustavo do a splendid job of reactivating the instrumentals of the original iconic track, while Angela once again showcases her mature vocals that do a terrific job of capturing the song’s deep emotion.  Vazquez Sounds is worth keeping an eye on and I can only imagine them getting better as they gain more musical momentum.

Hi Evet, I had never heard of this group until Nataly pointed them out, but they definitely have a lot of talent for their young age – Angela's going to have an amazing voice as she matures. Thanks for visiting!
