Following the overwhelming popularity of Musicologo and Menes‘ Imperio Nazza Mixtape, they decided to follow up with a new Gold Edition Mixtape. The concept of mixtapes featuring a wide range of artists is a return to the early days of reggaeton, when compilation albums were common and there seemed to be a strong sense of community between the artists.
Gold Edition features 19 tracks by some of the hottest artists in the genre, from heavyweights Daddy Yankee and Tito “El Patron” (formerly Tito “El Bambino”) to newcomers J Alvarez and Farruko.
