Will Ave – Two Birds

Will Ave is bringing urban soul to the city of Miami, one song at a time.  Born to Puerto Rican parents in Pennsylvania, this young singer wasn’t always pursuing music, although he was certainly exposed at an early age thanks to his father’s leadership in a salsa band.  If you’ve ever heard Frank Ocean’s “Songs for Women,” the title of the song is essentially how Will Ave got into singing.  Not to discredit his talent, singing about his passion for that special middle school girl brought forth the inner artist that was just waiting to be released.

Listening to his current single “Two Birds,” one can almost visualize a young Latin Usher or Justin Timberlake, who are in fact two of his idols.  Emotion is key to this track: every pained facial expression is felt in the music; every melancholic ray of remembrance shines through bright and pure.  I encourage you to leave this artist a comment on iTunes if you enjoy his music.
