I honestly am not familiar with Thiaguinho, but my attempts to translate his Portuguese biographies indicate a background rooted in Samba. Mink is an eclectic band from Mexico whose website description of "pop avante-garde" sums them up nicely. "Esperame" is a pop-rock track off their 2010 album Camino whose melancholic vibrancy matches the song's yearning for fulfillment.
